Every Sunday we have kid small group during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:30am) and during church kids are welcome to stay in the sanctuary or attend kids church.  Powell Chapel UMC also serves Villa Rica and the surrounding area with special kid and youth events throughout the year.

While every one's faith journey is different, small groups play an important role in loving one another, supporting one another and growing together. Our small groups include Sunday morning group and Wednesday night Bible study, focused on current, fresh perspectives. Give us a shout if you'd like to learn more.

Love to sing? Our informal worship choir makes it easy! Meeting in the choir loft every other Sunday at 10:30am, we practice and join together for contemporary, praise and worship, and traditional music. If you'd like to step our and sing specials or be a part of our seasonal music, let us know. Let's sing together!

Powell Chapel UMC is serving Villa Rica with an outward-focused and active United Methodist Women's group! From fundraisers to missions, our ladies group makes it fun to fellowship together and be the hands and feet of Christ. They meet once a month and enjoy a variety of events and trips throughout the year.

The people of Powell Chapel UMC serve the community. The love for Villa Rica and the surrounding community is shown through the support of a variety of missions and ministries. If you'd like to get plugged in and serve, tell us.
